Sofia (listen)) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. The city is at the foot of Vitosha Mountain in the western part of the country. Being in the center of the Balkan peninsula, it is midway between the Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea, and closest to the Aegean Sea.

Facts about participating organization
After the resignation of Ice hockey club Varna due to technical problems, HC NSA Sofia decided to participate in ICE RINKS FOR ALL project.
HC NSA Sofia is an ice hockey team based in Sofia, Bulgaria. They currently play in the Bulgarian Hockey League. The club was founded in 2009 as part of the National Sports Academy of Bulgaria. The organization is educating approximately 300 children and young adults. Their senior team played in the Balkan League during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, winning the championship both seasons. NSA joined the Bulgarian Hockey League for the 2012-13 season, finishing in second place behind CSKA Sofia.
